We'll try using them tomorrow on boxes, maybe even spawn an NM. For killing all of the Yagudo, you get 10 Izzat. Once the Fetter is killed, the Yagudo become targetable. We cleared the bats, then killed the Fetter.
FFXI WARBLADE BEAK FULL
SMN Bloodpacts were doing full damage on single mobs (same rules for BLU applied for SMN when we tried Thunderspark for lulz)Īt the end, we found a group of mobs (bats) with a Fetter and a group of untargetable Yagudo. 2 DDs kill one by one with proper support. I can very easily see a RUN or PLD tank running in and aggroing the group of mobs, with a BRD sleeping them all. Surrounding targets took 90% reduced damage (main targeet 15k, all others 500 or less)Īll mobs can be fully enfeebled (Sleep, Silence, Slow, Para) but standard rules apply for mob types (we saw Skeletons, couldn't Blind them) Ok, it's looking like they made this content specifically to prevent BLUs from cleaving through this content. The Basic Release Info from SE:Ībout to enter Odyssey for the first time. Keeping this as a basic vital post highlight source so as new posts with vital information emerges I will just pin it here so it is all in one space and no need to jump around different pages.

FFXI WARBLADE BEAK UPDATE
I will update this OP Thread with some resources and information that people have found across all servers including videos and screenshots. I have barely had time to update and barely any time to explore this content myself. Sorry about the delay on updating this as I have been slammed with a lot of work since COVID-19 defense ramp up procedures at my hospital facility. Please don't post on here, you have a Fafnir to camp. We can then update BG-Wiki with information that we gather. Eventually I will create a Node on this with full details. Keep this thread clean, hoping to post critical details and discuss strategies. Instead of Abyssea, this may be a Walk of Echoes 3.0? Anything iLvl 140+. They must of learned new ideas through the Lilith HTBF and how they can play with those elemental fetters to create unique battlefield environment and apply further stress with them. Looks like they took components of Walk of Echoes (setting), and Elemental Circles and brought it together. If I could have found another rift I would have had time for 1 more pop. At the end, I got 2 additional boxes from the exit direct drop. Then had about 5 minutes to get from floor 3 to the exit and do a little farming on the way. I was rushing for time during these so all I remember is that one was a treant with a slow aura and the other was a morbol with magic evasion down aura. 3 scales, 1 box for both force-popped mobs.Īlso killed 2 sets of ghostly mobs and pop 2 random NMs. Valkurm Imperator's counterpart died too quickly to use its two-hour or put up an aura (lucky skillchain chunked it). Intuila's counterpart used perfect dodge and had a paralyze aura, but died quickly otherwise. Solo on COR, I was able to force-pop 2 nms (dragonfly and the intulia one) with the unity materials from their mob-type counterparts. It has to cost 10 izzat and it will be random. Additionally, the rift that spawns after the ghostly monsters * cannot* be force-popped with unity materials. I haven't ever skipped the NM, so the direct drop might come from the fetter itself, or finishing the ghostly monsters.

Not sure if it's guaranteed but it seems pretty consistent based on memory: all NMs (force popped or fetter mobs) give 3 scales and 1 box based on several days of running this.Īdditionally, force-popped NMs with unity materials do not count for the direct-drop boxes from touching the exit conflux. (Floor 1 costs 1 material, floor 3 costs 3, etc). As mentioned by others, there seems to be a correlation between the number if materials required based on the floor you pop on 1:1. I have been playing FFXI since release in Europe with several breaks here and there when life got in the way.Not sure if it's been mentioned explicitly, but the rifts just sitting out in the middle of nowhere (not spawned by the fetter mobs) cost no izzat, just the unity materials. Just wanna say thank you Floppy, the guide you made is not crappy at all and I can tell that you've put a lot of work and effort into creating it!! (Total lie, I have, I've just forgotten or been too busy choosing and then eating food! mmmmm food! I want food now. Hey, been meaning to reply to this for a few days but not had chance to do it. Any suggestions or corrections are welcome. It may be of use to someone learning BLU. Also, I have written a crappy BLU play style guide.
